I made myself a beaded belt of black polished wooden beads and small silver-colored metal beads. I added some sparkling dividers and two toggle clasps. The dividers are essential in this kind of work, they are needed for the rhythm and keeping the belt in shape.
The belt is made on a beading wire same way that we all make necklaces. It can also be used as a necklace. I made the belt quite long and casual, it finds its own place somewhere between hips and waist. You may wear it with jeans and blouse or with a dress as belt or as necklace. Any way you like.
I have used black 8 mm wooden beads and silver-colored 4 mm metal beads. When making the belt, make sure you’ll have lots of beads. This takes easily 200 beads and dozens of dividers.
