This bracelet makes me think of warm summer days, and the wild berries that grow everywhere. Pick some berries, have a cooling swim, enjoy the moment. The rose color bicones are like raspberries, and the dark lilac twinbeads remind me of blueberries. They seem so berrylike in my eyes that I almost want to eat them. I can’t really name a specific technique that was used in this tutorial. It simply came to life as I went on making the bracelet.

What you need:

  • seedbeads, size 11/o
  • 4 mm bicones (Swarovski)
  • twinbeads (Preciosa TwinBead)
  • thread, needle, scissors, clasp
Metsämarjat, tarvikkeet

Supplies

Metsämarjat, alku

Place on thread two bicones and a twinbead, then another two bicones with a twinbead. A seedbead comes between each of them.

Metsämarjat rullalla

Take the thread through the starting bead to form a circle. Bring the thread through another half circle and exit from a twinbead.

Metsämarjat, toinen vaihe

As the thread has exited from the twinbead, turn around to the opposite direction through the other hole of the twinbead (downwards). Then turn around again and bring the thread through three beads.

Here’s how the thread goes through twinbeads.

Metsämarjat, jatko

Continue just like you did in the beginning

Metsämarjat, lukko

Finally, add a clasp. This is how I prefer to do it.

The berries are now ready for eat… I mean, wear.
